Funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon from Trinity Lutheran church for Karl [sic] George Theodore Schuett, whose sudden death while at work at the Reid-Murdoch plant was told of in last week's issue of the Press. The services were in charge of the Rev. Walter A. Spruth, pastor of the church, and were largely attended. Beautiful hymns were sung, and there was a profusion of flowers. Burial was made in Oakwood [sic, recte Glen Oak] cemetery.

Mr. Schuett was nearly seventy-five [sic] years of age and is survived by his widow, three children, one sister, seven grandchildren, other relatives, and a host of friends.

His baptismal name was Carl Georg Friedrich Schütt.

Carl was born in Dargun, Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Dargun is now in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
