He left here about three months ago for Camp Cody, and from there was transferred to Camp Dix. He had been here only a few days when he was stricken. Roy would of been 24 years of age Septemeber 20. He leaves an aged mother, four brothers, Jim, Jeff, Elmer, and Cal and four sisters, Miinie, Stella, Blanche and Elva, who with their families were all present at the funeral. Funeral services were held at the Pleasant Hill Baptist church, September 22, conducted by Rev. Deerfelt of Galena. Ray (typo) had united with this church a few years ago, when Rev.
