Mrs. Annie Ruth Rumsey, 71, passed away February 10, 2017 at her residence.
She was born on January 13, 1946. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Ridge Pentecostal Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Cecil and Annie Louise Bates; her husband Michael Ray Reaves, Sr.; and brothers, Cecil Bates, Jr. and Harry Truman Bates.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael Ray Reaves, Jr.; daughters, Kathy Mathis Meade and husband Bradley and Donna Hilton and husband, Glynn Todd; brothers, Hubert Ray Bates, Markus Wayne Bates and Johnny Bates; sisters, Helen Cornelius, Doris Whitley, Frances Gabel and Patricia Arms.
She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, Ashley Lambert, Austin Hilton, Tyler Reaves, Jason Reaves, Cassie Mathis, Meade Mathis, Jake Reaves and 4 great grandchildren
