BRAMLETT, William, born 1820, died 16-08-1852. William Bramlett, 32, died at his home in Fieldon, Aug. 16, 1852. A committee of Jerseyville division, No 16, S of T, under the care of Bro C. H. Knapp, met at Fieldon. They with a large number of the inhabitants of that village and its vicinity, conveyed the remains of Mr. Bramlett to the graveyard near the residence of Maurice Armstrong. Here the auditory were addressed in an instructive, truthful, and impressive manner, by Rev. Justus Bulkley, from the words, "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ," after which dust was committed to dust. The company was then invited to assist in the burial of the body of a son of Mr. Armstrong, which had just arrived upon the grounds, attended by the relatives and friends of the family.
