Funeral services for Mrs. Richard J. Hixson, 38 [sic], wife of the proprietor of the Riverwood Trailer Camp, Amsterdam-Schenectady Rd., will be conducted at 2 p. m. tomorrow at Baxter Funeral Home, Schenectady. Officiating will be the Rev. Victor Frolick of State Street Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Hixson died suddenly Sunday at her home on Johnson Rd., Glenville. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery.
Born in Schenectady, she was the former Madge Riddell. Besides her husband she is survived by a son, Jerry Hixson; her mother, Mrs. Madge L. Knight, and an aunt, Mrs. William J. Newcomb. All are of Schenectady. Mrs. Hixson was a cousin of Lex Barker, motion picture actor.”
