David M. Davis, Sr., 76, on the evening of February 11, 2017, David went to be with the Lord. He was born September 15, 1940 in Pana, Illinois to Mack and Evangeline Davis. He was a graduate of Lonoke High School, a medic with the Arkansas Army National Guard and a retired Kroger truck driver. David was a trustee of the Lonoke Apostolic Church where he was a faithful member for 49 years, dedicated to serving the Lord and others.

David is survived by his wife Fern; children David Mack, Jr (Sheila), Teresa Puckett, Angela Rochelle, Christina Harris and Matthew Harris; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Johnnie Dean and a brother Jonathan.

Celebration of life services will at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 15 at Lonoke Apostolic Church. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Tuesday at Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Lonoke Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lonoke Apostolic Church, P.O. Box 373, Lonoke, AR, 72086.
