James G. Latham, 67, of Lake passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006 at his home after a long battle with cancer. James was born Oct. 3, 1939 to Gerald and Laura (Sheldon) Latham in Lake, MI where he lived his whole life. He was united in marriage to Diane Beach on November 4, 1967. James worked at Electrolux in Greenville, MI for 36 years. James is survived by his loving wife Diane and his children Cynthia (Terrance) Dangler and Andrew (Karon) Latham. Grandchildren Cole and Teagan Dangler and a grandson is expected in the near future, two sisters: Geraldine Olger and Jeanette Hard, three brothers: Alvin Latham, Chelsea (Mazie) Latham, Charles (Ardeen) Latham and many nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Laura, grandson Connor Dangler, brothers in law Dewey Olger and William Hard and sister in law Betty Latham. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Dec. 4, 2006 at 11:00 am. at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton with Ray Merritt officiating. Interment will follow at North Brinton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mid Michigan Hospice Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 3rd from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
