Chester C., born December 4, 1826;
Samuel, born November 30, 1829; and
Julia Ann, born 1831, died 1858.
Joshua's second wife was Esther J. Wetherspoon, whom he married on March 30, 1837. They had the following children:
Ann Elizabeth, born January 12, 1839; married Kimball Barton on December 9, 1884, as his second wife. She was 45 and he was 63; she died June 5, 1903; and
Joshua Barnard, born May 30, 1843, died 1879, aged only 36.
