BLACK RIVER FALLS -- Wilbur L. "Pat" Laib, 81, formerly Route 4, Black River Falls, died Friday at King Veteran's Home, King.
He was born in Black River Falls and served in France during World War I. He married Elsie Spiering, Aug. 14, 1923, at Black River Falls. The couple lived in the town of Adams.
Mr. Laib worked as a mechanic, was employed at Jackson Box Co and was a plumber at Fort McCoy. He moved to Milwaukee in 1961 and worked at the Pabst Brewery. He entered the Veterans Home Jan. 31.......
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Charles Buswell Funeral Home, Black River Falls, with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today and until services Tuesday.
