Charlie E. Agee, 83, of Greeneville passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
Charlie retired from the U.S. Navy after 31 years of service.
He was a member of Harmon's Valley United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years: Mabel Agee; daughter: Vickie Hull Gilliland and husband, Barry; son, Vincent Agee; step-daughters: Christi Porter, Rose Dooley, Carrie Robertson, and Hope Miller; step-sons, Frank and Carl Heath; three grandchildren and spouses: Amy and Derek St. Clair, Amanda and Matt Creasy, and Adam Hull and Lillie McDonald; several great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren; sister, Alma McCulley; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Agee, brothers, Edward and Melvin Agee, and one sister, Marion Heath.
The family will receive friends from 5:00- 7:00 PM Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Rev. Charles Lindy officiating.
The Greene County Honor Guard and the U.S. Navy Military Honors Team will conduct a military graveside service 2:00 PM Tuesday at Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery for the graveside service
