Hester "Mimi" Aysien Estes, 85, passed away quietly surrounded by her family, December 6, 2003. She was a longtime resident of Pasadena, TX and a member of Living Springs Assembly of God Church in Pasadena. She was preceded in death by her husband Norman J. Aysien. She is survived by her sons, Russell Law and wife Helen, Norman Aysien and wife Nancy, Ronald Aysien and wife Dixie; sister, Lavern Smith and husband Ray; brother Radford Bailey and wife Hildred; grandchildren, Gina Law, Belinda Smith, Shelly Johnson, Kathy Johnson, Melissa Reese, Russell Law, Norman Aysien, John Aysien, Terry Aysien, Kelly Aysien Thompson, Kim Rowlan; 24 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 8, 2003 at Grand View Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2003 at Grand View Funeral Home with interment following at Grand View Memorial Park.
