Shaun Douglas Bowers, 24, of 141 Causey Court, Gaffney, S.C. passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
Born in Middletown, N.Y., he was the son of Douglas Eugene Bowers and Cindy Bowers.
He was self-employed and owner of Flipz Resale, loved hockey, duck hunting, the New York Yankees, and was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two sisters Brittany Bowers-Boyd and husband, Charlie, of Gaffney and Kaitlyn Bowers of the home; paternal grandparents, Douglas & Kittie Bowers; maternal grandparents, Ann & Carl Knack; a special friend, Shelby Davis; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Corinth Baptist Church. Memorial services will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Church with Dr. Dwight Easler and Dr. Gary Rogers officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Sharing Hope SC, 3950 Faber Place Drive, Suite 400, Charleston, S.C. 29405 or donatelifesc.org.
