Billy Dean Harris, 78, of Huntington, Arkansas passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired from Travis Lumber Company and a member of Mountain View Community Church in Midland.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 15 at the Midland Assembly of God Church with burial at Huntington Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Tuesday from 5 – 7 p.m.at Chateau on the Greens, 10560 So. Hwy. 96, where the family will visit with friends during this time.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Dallyne Harris; one son, Jimmy Harris and wife, Wilma of Mansfield; two daughters, Sandra Puckett of Huntington and Jennifer Morgan and husband, Roger of Mansfield; two brothers, Bob Harris of Huntington and Johnny Harris of Huntington; two sisters, Diana Horne of Huntington and Shirley Walker of Dayton; six grandchildren, Shannon, J.D., Jason, Philisha, Chelsea and Dallas; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dolan Harris and Nolan Harris and two sisters, Nova Powell and Irma Hunt.

Pallbearers will be Kendall Ward, William Walker, Steve Stevens, Robert Horne, Allen Baker and Ricky Brooks. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Puckett, J.D. Harris, Dallas Morgan, Mark Harris, Cobly Turner and Dolan Harris, Jr.
