He emigrated to Canada with his Brother Henry Illingworth (1894 - 1970) and arrived 18 May 1913 and settled with an Aunt and Uncle (Arthur James Towler) in Fairlight, Saskatchewan and were later joined by Father Arthur, Mother Edith Hannah and four sisters Edith, Annie, Florence and Agnes who set up home in Arborfield, Sask. The Couple had seven children, Kenneth(died 7 May 2006 Woodstock ON), Phyllis (Died 12 Jul 1977 Kinistino SK), Robert Arthur, Graham Alfred (Died 6 Feb 1989 Sackatoon SK), James (Jim), Douglas (Doug) and Donald (Don).
