MARION - Mildred Lee "Millie" Scott, 85, died Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Rose Hill Cemetery, directed by Richardson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the cemetery after the service.
Mrs. Scott was born in South Gate, California, a daughter of the late Thomas F. and Ruby Bowman Statum. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Emerson "Scottie" Scott, Jr.
Mrs. Scott owned and operated Millie's Flowers for many years. She was a member of Marion First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Scott is survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces.
