Harold "Butch" Blankenhorn, 61, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday at home.
Born in Pottsville, Feb. 20, 1955, he was a son of the late Herman and Edith Laubenstine Blankenhorn.

He was the husband of Linda Koch Blankenhorn.

Butch was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ Summer Hill, Auburn, and was formerly employed as a welder for Dana Corp.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Emily Ney, and two brothers, Marvin and Vernon Blankenhorn.

In addition to his wife, Butch is also survived by a daughter, Tracy Casady, companion of Thomas Seitzinger, Auburn; a son, Terry Blankenhorn, companion of Kym Garland, Schuylkill Haven; grandchildren, Cheyanna Middleton and husband, Matt, Crystal Reber and Trisha Casady; six sisters, Marion Barolet, Faye Potts, Carol Sullivan, Doris Brown, Karen Sylvester and Sharon Koch; two brothers, Paul Blankenhorn and Carl "Skip" Blankenhorn; nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Mark Dewald officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Summer Hill Cemetery, Auburn.
