Austin spent his early years in Sacramento, later in Clovis, and then lived in the Inland Empire. During his younger years he lived in Highland and went to school in San Bernardino until fourth grade when he moved to Redlands. He attended Cope Middle School and then Redlands High School, graduating in 2014. He most recently attended community classes at Crafton Hills College in Yucaipa and Oxnard College in Ventura County.
Austin loved camping and the outdoors, especially the ocean. He loved skateboarding, bike-riding, golfing, and other adventure activities. Most sports came easily to him. As a child he loved to draw and was fond of animals, especially dogs and cats.
Austin was especially fond of computer games and talented at hardware and software, building his own gaming console himself. He loved music - just about anything as a kid, and later favoring alternative with a grunge sound.
Those who knew and loved him say he was easygoing, loving, caring, smart, possessing a quick sense of humor, and was protective of those he loved, especially his little sister and his big brother.
Austin is survived by his father Patrick, his mother Trudi, his brother Zachary, his sister Emmy, stepfather Paul, stepmother Caroline, grandparents Michael and Helen, aunt Mary Beth, uncle Spencer, aunt Evelyn, uncle Sean, cousins Isaiah, Jasmine, Maya, Madeline, Jessica, Jacob, Ryan, and extended family and friends, of which there are too many to list. Austin was preceded to Heaven by his brother Nicholas and his great-grandmother Helen, great-grandmother Roxie, and grandmother Sonja.
Austin, also known as "A-Man," "Austin from Boston," "Auzzie" and teasingly "Austina" and "Bubba," will be missed, remembered, loved and forever in our hearts.
