21 Jan 2007: Joseph Patrick Branigan, 64, passed away Friday, January 19, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary Jane Branigan; daughter MaryBeth Branigan and son-in-law, Allen Green of Durham, NC; son Patrick J. Branigan, daughter-in-law, Chrissy Branigan; and grandchildren Cassidy and Carter Branigan of Landsdowne, PA; daughter Megan Archer, son-in-law, Todd Archer, and grandchildren Marley and Luke Archer of Harrisburg, PA. Born June 12, 1942, in Harrisburg, Joe served as a hospital corpsman in the U.S. Navy and later worked in sales for GMAC, Mallard Drug, and Consumer Financial Group. He also served as a deputy game warden for PA Game Commission and was a proud alumnus of Bishop McDevitt High School, Class of 1960. He was an avid hunter, sportsman, and family man. Joe will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
