Gary Allen McMillan, age 72, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on February 13, 2017 at his home. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, he was the son of Dewey Stanton McMillan and Nancy Catherine (Blevins) Clancy. He was a 1962 graduate of Bel Air High School, attended Harford Community College and received his B.S. in 1972 from Towson University. He had previously worked at Safeway as an assistant manager for many stores in Annapolis, Proctor & Gamble, and McCleary Franz in Timonium. He was very involved in researching his family genealogy and also assisted many others in researching their families as well. He loved the rock & roll music from the 50's & 60's, going to the casinos with his step-dad, enjoyed traveling with his significant other, and attending family reunions. He attended Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and was a member of the National Society for the Sons of the American Revolution.

Mr. McMillan is survived by his daughters, Deborah D. Russo of Havre de Grace and Kathleen D. Pender of Glen Burnie; three sisters, Janice A. Spellman of Bel Air, Linda D. Hartling of Bel Air and Roxanne McMillan-Hild and husband, James, of Hampstead; significant other, Katherine G. Gaeng of Bel Air; aunt, Lucille Stuart of Churchville; and many other family members.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 405 Williams Court, Suite 120, Baltimore, MD, 21220 or Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 1643 Churchville Road, Bel Air, MD 21015.
