“LYNCHBURG – Mrs. Jessie Earhart, 89, died Saturday in the Wilmington Extended Care facility.
Born March 8, 1885 in Brown County, she was the daughter of Marcellis and Ruth Chambers Wilson. She formerly resided at Buford.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mary Beazell, Mrs. Marie Sprague and Mrs. Betty-Lee Bradshaw; a son, Wayne; a sister, Mrs. Blanche McIntosh, Germantown; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Hess officiating. Burial will be in Buford Cemetery.” The Press-Gazette (Hillsboro, Ohio), November 11, 1974
