Daughter of St. Pierre Rhéaume and Therese Hardy she was baptized 10 Jun 1808 at Neuville, Portneuf, Lower Canada. She married Louis Theodore Besserer 22 Feb 1830 at Québec City.

Her Funeral Mass was held 6 Aug 1843 at Notre Dame Basillica at Bytown (Ottawa) and she was likely interred at the Roman Catholic portion of the Old Sandy Hill Cemetery (now McDonald Park) or at Besserer's Grove in Gloucester Twp. No record of a abandoned monument for her was found when the City of Ottawa closed Sandy Hill Cemetery so she was likely moved to Notre Dame Cemetery or possibly Beechwood Cemetery with her husband but no record had been found in the Beechwood Cemetery Burial Registers for the internment there.
