The 59-year-old grandmother lived in Gatlinburg for the last 15 years and worked as a clerk at McKinney’s Market and Deli. Known as “Mama Pam.” She was known for giving everyone love and hugs. She lived at the Travelers Motel, and that's where she was last seen before the building was destroyed by the Gatlinburg wildfire.

She was a longtime employee of McKinney's Market (AKA Faye and Dale's) in Gatlinburg. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Iris Johnson.

Ms. Johnson is survived by her daughter; granddaughter and husband; grandson; and her five siblings.

The family will receive friends 4-6 PM Thursday with memorial service to follow at 6 PM in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville, TN.
