Sandra Kaye Brown, age 50, of Miller, Mo., passed away at 3:22 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2017, at her home. She was born December 12, 1966, in Aurora, Mo., the daughter of Willard and Venita (Neely) Benbrook. Sandra was a 1985 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and attended Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo. Sandra has worked for State Farm Insurance for 25 years and was an Agent in Joplin, Mo., for the last 18 years. Sandra and David have Brown's Strawberry Farm in Miller and she was a member of the Soroptimist International and Bible Study Fellowship, in Joplin, and a member the First Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Mo. On December 21, 2001, she married David Brown in Miller. She is survived by her husband, David; three sons, Daniel Morgan and his fiancé, Alexia Wood, of Willard, Mo., Michael Morgan, and Samuel Brown, both of Miller; three grandchildren, Audrey Morgan, Anastazia Wood, and Seth Rogers; her mother, Venita Benbrook, of Mt. Vernon; three brothers, Ronald Benbrook, of Mt Vernon, Larry Benbrook and his wife, Shari, of Pennsboro, Mo., and Lynn Benbrook of Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Irma Grubaugh, of Mt. Vernon, and Joyce Towe, of Billings, and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and co-workers. Her father, Willard, preceded her in death. A funeral service, under the direction of the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, February 22, at the First Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon. Burial will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery, northeast of Miller.
