Personal: Joan was a dedicated school teacher in the Easton Area School District for 33 years. She graduated from Easton High School in 1956 and received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from East Stroudsburg University. Memberships: She was a former member of the Eastern Star and had been a Tall Cedarette.
Survivors: a son, Scott D. Odenwelder and his wife Tabitha of Forks Township, a brother Donald J. Boyer and his wife Christina of Palmer Township, her companion, Ray Herman and a grandson, Tristen.
