Albert Vernon Bennetts, 75, a lifetime resident of Silver City, died Friday in a Carson City Hospital.
Bennetts was born March 12, 1898 in Silver City.
He is survived by a brother, Harry, of Silver City; two sisters, Dora Bishop of Silver City and Blanche Starjack of Los Angeles; and two stepsons, Michael Nevin of Virginia City and Ray Nevin of Oregon.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City, with the Rev. Mr. Robert Pumphrey officiating. Burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery, Reno.
