Violet Elma Farber Adams, 93, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Aston Park Health Care Center.
A native of Fairhope, OH, she had resided in the Asheville area for the past 25 years and was a member of Mt. Pisgah Academy SDA Church.
Mrs. Adams was the daughter of the late Guy Kaygey Farber and Ethel Farber and wife of Keaver Strait Adams who died February 17, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Ronna DeStefano and sister, Vilna Sauder.
Surviving are her daughter, Sherra Brokaw (William) of Asheville; 8 grandchildren, Trissa Adams, Trina Sandler, Courtney Brown, Jason Brokaw, Terissa Miller, Tonya Oxford, Adam Hiltner and Kaylin Lang and 11 great grandchildren, Pace, Avery, Kyle, Jaya, Opal, Lillian, Calvin, Paige, Miles, Keaver and Everly.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday, February 25, 2017 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Michael officiating. Burial will follow in Shepherd Memorial Park.
