David R. Hansen, age 35, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.
David was born on December 14, 1981 in Manitowoc to Sharon Hoffman Hansen and the late Daniel Hansen. He graduated from Lutheran High School with the class of 2000. David had been employed at Radio Shack for over 10 years and was currently employed with United One Credit Union. On July 2, 2016, David proposed to the love of his life, Felicia Van Houten. Their marriage was planned for March 25, 2017. He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manitowoc.
Survivors include David's fiancée, Felicia; mother, Sharon Hansen, Manitowoc; best friend and brother, Thomas Fagan, Manitowoc; also other relatives and friends. David was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Hansen.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2426 North Rapids Road, Manitowoc with Rev. Thomas Pankow officiating. Cremation will take place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel at a later date with a private family burial service of David's cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery.
