Obituary from the Weston Independent February 5, 1941: Lovary Icie Clark, 79, died at family home at Gaston, Monday evening. Interred in Georgetown Cemetery along side her husband who diedn in 1898. Born July 20, 1861, Ritchie County, daughter of Nimrod and Elizabeth Butcher Lough. Mother of Lewis County. Married March 26, 1885 John E. Clark of Lost Creek. They located on Skin Creek where he farmed. Surviving children: Mrs. Albert Jewell, Aldis Clark, Elizab Wickland and Mrs. Kyle Bush all of Rt. 3, Mrs. Thomas Bagwell of Clarksburg, John Clark of Jacksonville, FL, Enos Clark of Roanoke and Marshall Clark of Horner; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren
