Alfred E. Marlett, 49, of 907 W. Mulberry St., Bloomington, a former employee of Sugar Creek Meatpacking Plant, died at 2:01 p.m. Monday at Brokaw Hospital, Normal. He had been ill three months.He was born April 10, 1933, at Magnolia, a son of Gregg and Rae Lucille Forrest Marlett. Surviving are a daughter, Naomi Marlett, LaSalle; and a brother, Glenn, 1105 W. Oakland Ave., Bloomington. A brother and a sister preceded him in death. A graveside funeral will be at 2 p.m Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery, the Rev. Don Clontz officiating. There will be no visitation. East Lawn Memorial Chapel is in charge.
His daughter Naomi Darlene Marlett- Sell Passed away 2-25-2017 in Lasalle county IL.
