(Special to Daily News)
Lexington, Dec. 5.--The hand of death has lain heavily over Davidson county for the past three or four days. The latest accession to its ranks was C. Allison Swing, prominent farmer and joint owner with his brother of the Holly Grove roller mills, who died suddenly in bed at his home about three or four miles east of Lexington early last night. He had eaten a hearty supper and retired in apparent good health. Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at Holly Grove church. A great crowd from all over the county gathered at this church today to pay their late respects to William F. Curry, who died Sunday morning.
