Barbarra Kephart Albert born 24 Oct 1828 at Osceola Mills, Clearfield Co., PA to Rev. Henry Kephart, Jr. (17689961) and Sarah "Sallie" Goss (17689944). She was the second of THIRTEEN children.

In 1844 she married Daniel Albert (1821-1878). They had nine children:
1)Elizabeth (24 Nov 1846) Married John Maney
2)John Henry (4 Feb 1848) Married Ella B.
3)Sarah A., (Oct 1852) Married Washington Irving Curley 23 Feb 1871
4)Marietta E. "Nettie", (1854) Married William J. Sullivan
5)Isaiah Lafayette, (1856-1927) Married Mary Meldrum in 1886 and Sarah Jean Bruce Powley in 1902
6)Clara Isabelle, (1859-1916) Married George Fisher Harris
7)Emma Ida, (1863-1942) Married Dr. Martin Etiene Mann in 1889
8)Ella May, (1865->1930) Married Newton Weldon Burtner in 1891
9)James E., (1868-?) Married Inez M. Clark

Barbarra died 27 Feb 1911 at Canal Winchester, Franklin Co., OH. She is buried at Shueyville Cemetery near her father and mother.

She is the grandmother of Horace Mann, Lucile Margaret, Gladys L., and Dorothy.]
