Dorothy Nell Doss, 94, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away March 1, 2017.

She was a member of the East Daisy Church of God. Dorothy had worked in food service at City High School and in her later years, she was a private sitter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Doss; two granddaughters, Alisa K. Doss and Theresa K. Light along with a brother and several sisters.

She is survived by her children, John A. (Joyce) Doss, Bobby R. (Linda) Doss, Sandra (Gerald) Hodge, Trudy Towe, Mark J. Doss, Kathy (Walt) Smith and Tammy (Steve) Gables; twenty three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Patricia Meroney and Mona Millard for all the love and care they provided to their mother.

Services will be 2:00 Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Mulkey and Rev. Jackie Penney officiating. Burial will follow in Gray Cemetery. Visitation is 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
