Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the home of his grand-daughter, Mrs. Clarence W. Lembke in Ebenezer for George W. Scott, 86, of 360 Main East, one of the founders of Spencer-Ripley Methodist Church.
Mr. Scott, a retired baker, died unexpectedly Saturday at Mrs. Lembke’s home. For many years before his retirement, he had operated a bakery shop with a brother-in-law, William J. Escott, at 381 Webster Avenue.
Mr. Scott leaves his wife, Adelia Boyce Scott; a son, James W. Scott, Pittsford; a sister, Mrs. Frank Darron, Rochester; a brother, James L. Scott, Livonia; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Cowlesville.
