Roy was born on July 2, 1940 in Hoopeston, Illinois, the son of Roy Sr. and Grace Houser. Roy married Nancy Ponder and later married Rita Haworth.
Roy leaves behind one brother, Fred Houser; one sister, Susie; two daughters, Diane Lopez and Rhonda (Dillian) Cagle; three sons, Eugene Houser, Charles Houser Sr. and DJ Linder; one stepson, Jason (Jennifer) Grant and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Roy worked for the railroad. He later left there and started his own business where he worked as a mechanic in Westville in his own shop R&H Garage. Roy loved fishing, NASCAR and dirt track racing. Roy was a real big jokester always having fun.
