RED LION James R. Sheets, 14, died on Thursday morning, April 24, 2003 in Red Lion. James was an eighth grade student at Red Lion Junior High School, where he was a member of the football team. He also played baseball for Red Lion Recreation and attended Red Lion Bible Church. Born in York on July 30, 1988, he was the son of Arthur S. 'Pee Wee' and Angelia M. (Sheets) Baker, Jr. of Red Lion. Besides his parents, he is survived by one sister, Elizabeth J. Baker, at home; maternal grandfather, Robert F. Lightner, Sr. of Red Lion; paternal grandparents, Jean E. Baker and Milford E. Miller, both of Red Lion; aunts, uncles and cousins. Viewing will be Monday, April 28th from 9 to 10 a.m. at Red Lion Bible Church. The service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the church with his pastor, Rev. Steven A. Schmuck, officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be offered to Red Lion Bible Church, 105 Springvale Rd., Red Lion, PA 17356.
