MINEVILLE, N.Y. - Gary Edward Allen, age 64, of Joyce Road in Mineville, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 3rd 2017.
He was born October 19th 1952 in Elizabethtown, N.Y., the son of Wesley and Viola (Merrill) Allen.
He worked for the Mental Health Association in Essex County, N.Y. for many years.
Gary's pride and joy were his two sons. He loved spending time with them and being their foreman on any project they were working on.
He enjoyed working in his garage and garden. He also enjoyed the outdoors, which he navigated on his four wheeler.
Gary was predeceased by his parents; Wesley Allen in 1982 and Viola (Merrill) Allen in 2008, three brothers; Wesley "Pete" J. Allen on January 2nd 2000, James "Jim" "Koochie" Robert Allen on July 16th 2002, and Harold "Chuck" R. Allen in 1985.
