Mr. Kennedy conducted a barbershop for many years in Dracut, retiring in 1937. He was an attendant of Saint Peter's church and a member of the Holy Name society of that parish, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Royal Arcanum and the Master Barbers Association.
He survived by his wife, Mrs. Emma (Burnett) Kennedy, three daughters, Mrs. Helen Booth and Miss Julia Anne Kennedy, both of New York City and Mrs. Claude J. Harvey of Chelmsford; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Leary of Lowell; a grandson, granddaughter, and two nephews, of Lowell.
