She was the daughter of John and Althea (Overley) Knous. She married twice and survived both husbands. On Oct 22, 1949, she married Harold Sheets, and on Dec 26, 1975, she married Karl L. Schlotterer.
Surviving are two daughters: Lou Ann Skinner, Benton Harbor, MI, and Karla (Cecil) Stiverson, Celina; two sons: John and Bob (Robyn) Sheets, both Celina; two stepsons: Will (Dawn), Sandusky, and Phil Schlotterer, Celina; a sister-in-law, Barbara Knous, St. Marys; and ten grandchildren, five step grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are siblings linked below and Robert Lee Knous; and a grandchild and great-grandchild.
A member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church, Coldwater, she was formerly employed at Reynolds and Reynolds, Celina, then retired from Huffy’s, Celina, after 26 years of service. She participated in the Tuesday Bible Breakfast Club and was a past member of the West Central Ohio Quilters Guild. She enjoyed her quilting and spending time with her family.
Services will be at the Lehman-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, with Rev. Tom Bolton officiating. Burial will follow in Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
