Myreda Elaine Taylor, age 71 of Cumberland, departed this life on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at the Harlan ARH. She was born in Linefork, KY on August 24, 1945 to the late Otis and Euna Mae Cornett Ingram. Myreda was a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker to her family and believed in the Old Regular Baptist faith.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Shepherd, and brothers, Crandall and David Ingram.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann (Joseph) Cornett of Corbin and Tracey Ingram of Cumberland; sisters, Laquata (Sam) Brogan, Anetha Halcomb, Barbara (James) McKnight, Eleda Ingram, and Elizabeth Ingram; grandchildren, Jennifer Cornett-Adams, Tyler and Toni Cornett, and Tonya and Alfred Shepherd; great grandchildren, Payton, Amahra, Ayden, Jaelyn, Ayvarie, Ashtin, and Mason; and a host of other family and friends.
You may visit with the family on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at the Tri City Funeral Home, 506 Holly Street, Benham, KY between 6 – 8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017, at 12 pm with Elder Glenn Cornett officiating. Interment will follow in the Maggard Cemetery at Partridge with Grandsons and Family serving as pallbearers.
