Elizabeth Anne Eubanks, age 78, passed peacefully at home on March 5, 2017.

Anne was born in McCool, MS, on February 24, 1939. She lived in many locations through Jerry’s work with the National Park Service. They included the Natchez Trace, Cape Hatteras, Shenandoah, Sequoia, King’s Canyon, Washington D.C., Ozarks, Great Smoky Mountains and the Gulf Islands where they had made their home in Gulf Breeze, FL for the past 32 years. She was a charter member of the Community Life United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Icey Simpson; an infant brother, James Simpson and an infant sister, Willie Simpson.

Anne is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jerry Austin Eubanks; daughters, Mary Anne Maples (Dave) of Bristol, VA and Debbie Jenkins (Jim) of Sevierville, TN; grandchildren, Kelly Maples Kostic (Chris), David Maples and fiancée, Kaitlyn Hughes, Steven Jenkins (Tara), Katie Jenkins and fiancé, Dustin Hurst, Austin Jenkins and Josie Jenkins; great grandson, Harper Jenkins; brothers, Roger Simpson and Joe Simpson (Sandra) and several nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.

A private memorial service will be held in Sevier County, TN. Interment will be in McCool, MS.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Covenant Care and the Woodlands Medical Center for their wonderful care.
