Paul B. Snyder, 70, Route 1, died last Monday morning at Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond after a brief illness.
He was born in Waldron, Shelby County. He retired as a welder from IRC&D Motor Freight Inc. in 1965. He also worked for Golay & Co. and Marson Construction. He had welding shops in Pershing and Milton from 1953 to 1975. He then had a shop in Mount Auburn. He lived in this community the past 40 years and was a member of the Worldwide Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah; one daughter, Patricia McGillem, Persing; two sons, Lee Snyder, Cambridge City and Leroy Snyder, New Castle; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one stepson, Charles Kirby Moore, Indianapolis; two stepdaughters, Peggy and Louis Stout, both of Kokomo; 12 step-grandchildren; one brother, Carl Jackson Snyder, Indianapolis.
Graveside services for Mr. Snyder were Thursday at the Marshall Funeral Home in Dublin with Garvin Greene officiating. Burial was in Lutheran Cemetery, Pershing.
