Mary retired from Community Hospital East. She enjoyed playing Texas Hold’em and bingo, camping, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Sherrie Olson (Bob), Charlene Evans (Roy), Darlene Cruz (Gus) and Debby Bravard (Glen); 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, Joe Eads; sister, Martha Coy (Raymond); and many nieces and nephews. Mary is preceded in death by her son, Eldon Henry; husband, Walter Canter; parents; and brother, John Eads.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan - Memorial Park, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the same location. She will be laid to rest following the funeral service at Washington Park East Cemetery.
