Carol Sue Wells Adams, age 72, of Pleasant Valley, Morehead, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, at her home.
Born December 1, 1944, in Morehead, she was the daughter of the late Paul M. and Clara "Faye" Adkins Wells. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two infant brothers, John and David Wells, and a niece, Tara Rae Black.
Carol is survived by her husband, Jimmy Lee Adams; one son, Timothy Lee Adams and wife Stephanie of Morehead; three grandchildren, Sharon (David, Jr.) Keeton, Brittany Adams, and Cody Adams; and two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Aiden Keeton.
She is also survived by one brother, Doug Wells of Morehead; four sisters, Paulette (David) Haney, Diane (Bob) Tackett, and Janie (Jerry) Estep, all of Morehead, and Linda (Bronson) Black of Olive Hill; nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Carol was an employee of the Morehead Treatment Center for 27 years and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bro. Shawn Hatton and Bro. Marvin Gearhart officiating. Burial will follow in the Hogge Cemetery on Cranston Road.
Pallbearers: Mike Johnson, Austin Whittaker, Matthew Gribbins, Mike Ramey, Cody Adams, and David Keeton, Jr. Honorary pallbearers: Sharon Keeton, Brittany Adams, Brooklyn Keeton, and Aiden Keeton.
