Jane S. Kunes January 8, 1927 March 7, 2017 Jane S. Kunes, 90, of Bellefonte, died Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. Born January 8, 1927, in State College, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Emma Barlett Snyder. On August 17, 1947, she married Charles S. Kunes Sr., who preceded her in death on October 2, 2006. She is survived by one son, Charles S. Kunes Jr. and his wife, Jayne, of Northampton; one sister, Barbara Fry, of State College; and one granddaughter, Alyson Kunes, of Northampton. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Kathryn Hartman and Richard Snyder. Jane was a 1945 graduate of State College High School. She retired from Susquehanna University as a Bookkeeper, prior to that she was employed as a Bookkeeper at People's National Bank in Bellefonte. Jane was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Jane enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, attending crafts shows and Sumer Sunday concerts. She loved cats and dogs and was a collector of clowns. Visitation will be 1-2:30 p.m., Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m., at the funeral home, with Celebrant Jackie Hook officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.
