Warren J. Jennison, 85, died Thursday at Woods Bay. He was born October 25, 1885 in Glenwood, Minnesota. In 1888 he moved with his family to Appleton, Minnesota; in 1900 to Minneapolis and in 1905 to Rugby, North Dakota where he married Bernice Harmon in August 1906.

He was engaged in the flour milling business there and in 1915 he moved to Fairview where he had a flour elevator, coal mine, brick plant, and power plant.

In 1925 he moved to Williston, North Dakota as manager of the Montana-Dakota Utilities. In 1928 he retired and bought the Rocky-Bar-O Ranch. In 1930 he started the Rocky-Bar-O dude ranch and Spotted Bear Diamond R. hunting camp.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1960. October 30, 1961 he married Nina Salzman who died in 1969. He was also preceded in death by one son, Wesley.

Mr. Jennison is survived by one daughter, Mrs. C.T. (Joan) Ladenburg, Bigfork; two brothers, John Jennsion, Winnetka, Illinois and Alfred Jennison, East Lake Shore; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was a life member of the Elks Club in Williston, North Dakota and a 32nd degree Mason of the Bigfork Lodge. He also belonged to the wilderness society, several sportsman groups, and Christ Church (Episcopal) Kalispell.
