Mrs. Becktol died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2007, in her home. She was born March 2, 1927, in Geary. Lida was a graduate of Geary High School and came to El Reno in 1944. She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W.H. and Eva M (Pedigo) Lesperance, her husband, Frank Becktol Sr.; a brother, W.H. Lesperance, Jr., a sister,Audrey Barringer , and a great-grandson, Trenton Kyle Smith

Survivors include three sons, Frank Becktol Jr. and wife, Linda, William E. Becktol and Dean Becktol and wife, Debra, all of El Reno; two daughters, Janice Blanc of Gardner, Kan., and Shirlene Coffey and husband, Larry of El Reno; sisters, Jean Leedam and husband, Bill of Pawhuska, Francis Choat of South Dakota and Evelyn Crawford of Texas; 11 grandchildren, Scott Becktol and wife, Kathy, and three children; Tracy Hubbard and husband, Nathan, and two children; Travis Becktol and wife, Tammy, and three children; Dena Wallace and husband, Casey, and three children; Marty Becktol and wife, Trina, and three children; Jennifer David and husband, Tom; Frank Blanc and wife, Liza, and four children; Curt Blanc and wife, Nicole, and two children; Jenette Smith and two children; Bryan Smith and wife Angela and one child; and Rebecka Mitchum and husband, Nicholas and one child; and numerous other relatives and friends.
