Rev. Hildebrandt Funeral Rites Set at Clayton
FREEMAN - Funeral services for the Rev. Nicholas S. Hildebrandt, 69, will be Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the St. Peter Lutheran Church at Clayton.
The body will lie in state at the Walter Funeral Home in Freeman and on Saturday from 1 until service time at the church. There will be a prayer service at the funeral home Friday at 8 p.m. burial will be in the church cemetery.
He was born July 5, 1898 at Pender, Neb., to Mr. and Mrs. Christian Hildebrandt and died Wednesday morning at a hospital in Elgin, Ill., where he had been a patient for two weeks.
On Sept. 10, 1924 he married Bertha Benz.
Survivors include his widow; one son, Daniel, Roselle, Ill.; and two daughters, Mrs. George (Dorothy) Hoffmann, Bellevue, Wash., and Mrs. Gordon (Lois) Peacock, San Francisco.
