Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home, & Cremation Center is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sara Frances Bell.

A Life Celebration service will be held in the Chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home at 2pm on Monday, March 13, 2017. Visitation will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home from 4pm-8pm on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Prior to the service Visitation will be held from 11am until the hour of service. Sara Frances Norris Bell, 83, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away March 9, 2017. Frances was born in Bethpage, Tennessee, November 13, 1933. As a military wife, Frances had the opportunity to travel and see the world. She and her loving husband of 52 years, Ernest W. Bell, raised two children together. Frances was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed not only her immediate family, but her brothers, sisters, and her many nieces and nephews. In addition, she loved her many cats and dogs that she had through the years. Frances was also an avid writer and researcher. She studied her genealogy, became a DAR, a member of the First Families of Tennessee, and was writing a novel on her great, great, grandmother, Seraphina, who was alive during the settlement of the Upper Cumberland. She also enjoyed the Pageant Circuit and became the Tennessee Director of the Mother/Daughter Pageant. Frances loved the Lord. She was brought up in the church and was saved at a young age. During the past 20 years, she was a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. France is survived by her two children.
