East Liverpool - Charles E. "Chuck" Allison, 63, of Dresden Avenue, East Liverpool, passed away, 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at East Liverpool City Hospital. Arrangements are pending at Dawson Funeral Home.

Charles E. 'Chuck' Allison, 63

East Liverpool - Charles E. "Chuck" Allison, 63, of Dresden Avenue died at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, in the City Hospital emergency room. Born Dec. 13, 1943, in East Liverpool , a son of the late William C. Allison Sr. and Gladys Ammon Allison, he was a lifetime area resident. A U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, he was a member of Moose Lodge 122 and American Legion Post 374. After retiring from the former Crucible Steel Co. in 1982, he later co-owned the former Army-Navy Club in East Liverpool. Most recently he had been working security at Homer Laughlin China Co. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Dawn Pollack Allison, at home. Two daughters, Kim Keyes and her husband, Jeffery, and Michelle Allison, and a son, Greg Cunningham, all of East Liverpool , survive. Also surviving are three brothers, William C. Allison Jr. and his wife, Mary Lou, of Calcutta , Dan L. Allison and his wife, Mary Jo, of Lehigh, Fla., and Richard A. Allison of East Liverpool. There are six grandchildren: Matthew Stowers, Nicholas Stowers, Mallory Stowers, Joshua Keyes, Sarah Keyes and Sydney May. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Lou Allison, and a brother, John E. Allison. Services are to be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Dawson Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial is to be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
