Mr. Bryant J. Myers died at his home east of Fayetteville Monday, November 18, 1907, aged about 78 years. He had been in feeble health for some time, but when the end came it was sudden and unexpected. He strived at all times to faithfully perform his duty and died without an enemy - at peace with mankind.

(Note his name in his obituary is spelled "Myers" instead of "Mires". I'm wondering if he is actually buried in Mulberry Cemetery; his son is buried in Moyers Cemetery, near Lincoln, in Lincoln Co., Tennessee.)
